Insul~Bright is a needle-punched, insulated material ideal for crafters.
Heat resistant Insul Bright wadding is ideal for table mats, oven-gloves, ironing board covers and more.
It consists of polyester fibres, needle-punched through a reflective metalled polyester film. The needled material is breathable and won’t break down with washing. The polyester fibres resist conduction while the reflective metalled polyester film reflects radiant energy, hot or cold, back to its source.
Insul~Bright is not recommended for microwave use.
At least one layer of cotton wadding is recommended with Insul-Bright when used as Oven Gloves or Matts. A cotton wadding will absorb any excess moisture and so helps prevent heat travelling through the item.
Remember: Insul Bright is heat-Resistant, Not heat-proof.
